The fibroblast treatment is based on a system between the connective tissue with epithelial, which aims to improve tissue’s repair function and rejuvenation. Human fibroblasts are support cells inside the connective tissue that form fundamental constituents of the extracellular matrix (ECM), contribute to wound healing, and help in repair and regeneration.
For the fibroblast therapy process, the first thing to do is to apply topical anaesthesia to the area to be treated to eliminate any discomfort the patient may feel. Once the area is cleaned and the numbing cream has set in, the treatment process will begin. The surgeon will run a small hand-held device across the treatment area. The device creates a small plasma flash at the end of the tool and as it strikes against your skin, it leaves little dots behind. The device works on the voltage in the air between the plasma itself and your skin. These dots stay only after the plasma flash used by the wand never touches skin directly but end up making your skin firm and tight.
The great thing about fibroblast therapy results is they are permanent and you expect patients to see them almost instantly after treatment. But, just as any surgery will not prevent new signs of ageing from emerging later on.
In order to prolong the appearance of your fibroblast treatment results, avoid heavy sun exposure, smoking and high alcohol consumption. Also, keep up with a consistent skin care regimen.
The duration of plasma treatment for the fibroblast therapy lasts between 30 and 60 minutes. This also adds the time to apply numbing cream prior to the treatment procedure. You may expect to need 2 to 3 sessions following your initial session and each session is typically scheduled 4, 6 or sometimes 12 weeks apart for superior outcomes.
