Unsettling Reaction to Acquaintances' Visible Botox Effects

I'm curious, are there others like me, who get annoyed, scared, disappointed, when acquaintances have had Botox (Xeomin or whatever that freezes the facial expressions as such) - and you look and see that something's been done to the face and it's horrifying? The face takes on a strange shine, it looks odd. The forehead, when it wrinkles - the wrinkles become convex, like rubber, or where there was a natural fold - so cute - it's gone!! I feel like a phone that doesn't recognise its owner!! 😂 Does anyone else have this issue? I'll say right away, I do have other problems)), just curious, are there people with a similar reaction to Botox/Xeomin on painfully familiar faces. I had thoughts of doing it myself, at 35, but now I really doubt - it's still VISIBLE, the person doesn't look younger, it looks like something's been done..And no, my friends have a small dosage, it's done delicately, but I can see!! It takes time to get used to the "new face".

The thing is:1 - Botox doesn't suit everyone. Many get it injected without any substantial reason, just because of a single wrinkle, and that too an expression one.2 - A large number of cosmetologists don't know how to inject it properly. This requires a medical education. But most of these so-called cosmetologists only have a certificate from rubbish courses. Hence, they end up injecting rubbery loaves with an uncanny valley effect.3 - You often can't convince many people that they don't need it. But you can't ban it either.4 - The best injections are the ones that are not visible. Alas, many people blur the line of what's acceptable.

It doesn't annoy, rather it amuses 😆 I'm generally amused by many manipulations with appearance. 1. Puffed up lips, even if just a bit - nasolabial folds appear immediately, even in those who didn't have them 2. False eyelashes are scary, it seems like a bumblebee got lost in the eye 3. Botox amusingly shines and a face without any expressions is funny in principle 😆 4. Painted false nails remind me of the mums in my nursery, which I attended in '95-'98.

I don't really care who's doing what out there. No sharp reaction. But I just passed by a good acquaintance, whom I've known for not just one year and didn't recognise her until she called out to me. It seemed like her, her voice, but her face has changed. No wrinkles, but she still looks her age. She's very pleased with her transformation.
