Seeking Advice for Treating Husband's Severe Back Acne

Hello everyone, ladies, could you please suggest effective ways to combat back acne? My husband's back has broken out for some unknown reason, it looks simply dreadful. Perhaps it's because he's put on weight and changed to a more stressful job, plus he eats all sorts of rubbish at work, there's no microwave or fridge there, there isn't even a simple dining area, so he can't take home-cooked food. He doesn't want to change to a healthier diet, he's a fan of salty/spicy/fatty/fried food, he's not planning to give up his favourite food and even if it's not at home, he'll buy it at work. He doesn't want to go to a dermatologist or endocrinologist, he's a man after all, it's not a manly thing to do. I want to try salicylic ointment, but I'm not quite sure how to apply it correctly, and brewer's yeast, but I'm really afraid that after this he'll put on even more weight. I've never had this problem myself, I was lucky with clear skin, so I just don't know what products to use. Please advise, how can I cure this nightmare on his back, I love my husband very much and accept him as he is, he's wonderful to me, but looking at his back is very disgusting and scary and I want to cure it ☹️.

Purchase acne ointment and eucalyptus tincture. Treat every evening. You can also squeeze them out and go over with a cotton disc soaked in eucalyptus tincture. I'm not overweight and not greasy. But I also periodically get spots on my back. You might also try wearing cotton underwear without any synthetic materials. Baby powder also helps quite well.

There are two possibilities here (the most common ones): either he has hormonal problems, elevated testosterone, which results in spots (and excess testosterone turns into oestrogen), or a metabolic disorder, improper diet and an allergy to something. It can be cured if you find out the cause. For this, you need to go and have a blood test. Further treatment or diet will then be prescribed by an endocrinologist.

Drag him into the pool, chlorine (or whatever they use now) dries the skin well. My husband's back wasn't that disastrous, but his skin is oily. I noticed an improvement about 2 weeks later, new spots aren't forming, pores have narrowed.

I understand that acne is a result of some disruptions in the body, but I simply can't take him to the doctor if he doesn't want to, it's like trying to push a tank that's stuck in its tracks. Food is even more difficult, for him mayonnaise is like bread, without it he eats only sweets, and if I cook something relatively harmless, he just doesn't eat it ☹️. I myself am forced to eat healthily due to pancreatitis, so healthy food, cottage cheese, porridge, vegetables are always available, but they are stubbornly ignored. But in any case, I didn't come to complain about my husband, he's a wonderful person and acne is so far the biggest problem in our relationship, thank God. Thanks everyone for the advice! I hope they help.
