She's only just decided to do it for the first time, and you're already on about myofibrosis... I understand before rhinoplasty, irreversible changes and all that. But such a tragedy - talk her out of it! Absolute nonsense. It'll dissolve without a trace in six months, what's there to panic about?

Those who get Botox will never listen to the arguments of those who don't want to do it or are scared. Firstly, the results, secondly, the cosmetic doctors themselves are on Botox. The only danger could be from counterfeit products.

You didn't specify what wrinkles you have! In general, there's a product that replaces Botox (of course, not with the same effect) - these are serums with hexapeptides (see cosmetologists' forum), which extend the effect of Botox or slightly smooth out wrinkles without Botox (I have Absolute Fix by Christina, the cosmetologist says there are better ones. If the wrinkles are pronounced, then only Botox injections, there are no other options or live with wrinkles, about the side effects. they usually keep quiet, but it's clear that it's poison, cosmetologists still don't know all the side effects. Choose a good cosmetologist and start with small doses. I personally don't like it when the eyebrows are raised high, such a bitchy-surprised look and who does it on the bridge of the nose sometimes there is such a "densification", "increase in tissues", as if filler was injected there maybe this is myofibrosis?

I had it done half a year ago. Wrinkles really do disappear. But, firstly, the sensation of paralysed muscles is unpleasant. And secondly, this botox needs to be repeated approximately every 4 months. In my opinion, it's better to save up for plastic surgery and have it done once, rather than injecting Botox every 4 months for the rest of your life.

I'LL WRITE ABOUT MYSELF, WHEN I turned 40 I began to fight age panicly EVERY HALF YEAR I DID BOTOX AND FILLERS IN THE NASOLABIAL FOLDS I WAS SATISFIED AND LOOKED GOOD, 4 YEARS HAVE PASSED AND WHAT DO I SEE, THERE HAVE APPEARED OTHER DEEPER WRINKLES WHERE THERE WERE NONE, FOR EXAMPLE, IF YOU SMOOTH OUT WRINKLES ,,GOOSE FEET,, THEN WHEN YOU LAUGH A BUNCH OF WRINKLES APPEAR ON THE NOSE AFTER THE GLASSES, WATCH THE ACTRESSES ON TV YOU WILL UNDERSTAND IMMEDIATELY, BOTOX IS A TEMPORARY EFFECT .PROPER NUTRITION, YOGA ONLY, IT IS MUCH BETTER AND LONG-TERM.

I'm 55, working for a foreign company, travel abroad for business trips, weigh 58, constantly get Botox and periodically fillers. Appearance immediately improves - wrinkles are smoothed out (and lines), you knock off a good 8-10 years. Get Botox - don't be afraid!

If one were to put aside the thought that botulinum toxin is indeed a poison, albeit entering the body in microdoses, and the experience of its use in cosmetology is only about 20-25 years, and in neurology 30-35 years. And its consequences, if injected sensibly, once every 4-6 months, as recommended, are not as horrific as if it were not used for 20 years. Yes, facial expressions change. So what? Those who don't like it, don't get it again. But many people like it, and don't care that someone noticed that the eyebrow is slightly raised, but the face is smooth. They even wrote about the heart muscle here. It might paralyse if you inject 5 packs of Botox directly into the heart muscle, but who would do that? And the micrograms that are injected into the face, only go a couple of mm deep into the required muscle.

The worst thing about Botox is when it's sad to look at your own face without it. But with it, it's quite pleasing. I understand that for many, after a certain age, their face stops pleasing them either way. So why not give it a try? You'll make the decision yourself.
