Considering Botox for Lifelong Hyperhidrosis - Your Experiences?

Hello! I've suffered from hyperhidrosis all my life, nothing helps, so much clothing ruined, I only wear black because you can't see the sweat patches on it. I want to try Botox or Dysport injections, they say the effect lasts up to 8 months, some even up to a year. Please share, if you've done it, what were the results, were there any complications, after all, it's a toxin...

I bought Dry Dry, just for a laugh, and fell in love with it. Although I don't suffer, I just became curious. My friend, who suffers from hyperhidrosis, initially didn't believe me, but tried mine out of interest. A week later, she called to clarify the name of the deodorant. Now she's enjoying life.

Girls, thank you ever so much for your responses! What do you think, is it harmful to completely block sweat output with Dry and the like? Botox blocks nerve impulses without affecting sweat ducts, while antiperspirants, due to their high aluminium content, actually block these very ducts. So, it turns out that sweat is produced, but the exit is closed, and it must go somewhere. Won't inflammation occur?

Where did you get the idea that Dysport and Botox are harmless? Don't you know what the consequences of Botox can be? It can cause inflammation of the sweat glands, just like Odaban. After Dysport and Botox, everything will sweat: palms, back, chest, and face - but the armpits will be dry. I had injections at the centre of Chinese medicine, not Botox, but some Chinese drug - the effect was 100%, but only for one week. Now I'm getting by with Driclor.

I have excessive underarm sweating. I got Dysport, yes, it really helped for 5 months.. But!!!!!! Sweat started to appear in other places- face, legs!!!! Where it was never observed before. Now the effect of Dysport has evaporated, I'm using Driclor- it's okay, not particularly helpful, but, let's say it's not as bad as it could be. And I WON'T be rolling anymore!!!! In any case, you can hide underarms with dark clothes, but when your face is dripping, or your legs are as wet as a man's- it's just not on!

The provided content "Кототься=коЛоться*" does not appear to be a coherent sentence or phrase in Russian. It seems to be a correction of a typo or unconventional spelling, but without context, it's difficult to provide an accurate translation. However, following the criteria, the translation would be "Kotot'sya=koLot'sya*".

I too want to get a Dysport injection, I've been suffering from hyperhidrosis since my early youth. Honestly, I see no effect from the dry-dry, only severe irritation and itching until this product is washed off the skin. Summer is on the nose and I can't make up my mind about the injections. And I want to, as they say, and it pricks.

It's not true that he doesn't go out. My armpits have been sweating profusely. The volume of wet circles is 30 cm in diameter, in. Any weather, in the heat it's even worse. I've been using the deodorant for about 5 years now, everything's great. Dry and comfortable, But!!!! After a year of use, my back started to sweat terribly, streams are pouring, and from my face, .... Only need to get into the heat..sweating, like a mouse. But otherwise everything's super, if calm, or not too hot, everything's wonderful.

In my opinion, Botox and Dysport are only if absolutely nothing else works. I too was plagued by wet circles on my clothes, and you can't use the same dry deodorant for too long. Now I use Formagel, initially I used it often, every 3-5 days, now it lasts for a week. In general, you have to try.

I've been suffering from hyperhidrosis for 5 years now, tried almost everything except Botox. The only thing that helps is glycopyrrolate. It doesn't completely reduce sweating, but by 4-5 times for sure. It really helps and can be taken continuously.

No deodorants seem to work: I've tried virtually all the popular brands - Algel, Dry Dry, Formagel and so on. They more or less handle the smell, but they're utterly useless when it comes to moisture. That's why Botox became the only solution for me.

I've tried everything, but only 1 remedy helped, and it worked the first time - it's a quartz lamp. Moreover, it's an open type, which shines with a violet light, and you have to close your eyes when you turn it on so as not to burn them. I sat for 1-2 minutes half-naked without a shirt, with my arms raised, with the quartz lamp turned on, directed at me and my armpits, and it destroyed all harmful bacteria, viruses, and fungi in my armpits. There's no smell now and I sweat much less. My armpits are now dry. Hooray! You can also apply a solution of Furacilin (against bacteria) and a solution of Nystatin (against fungi) (dissolve a tablet in water and apply to the armpits).

As I understand you... The only thing that helps me with sweat is glycopyrrolate. The downside is that dry mouth sets in about 2-3 hours after taking it, there's practically no saliva at all, as the glands responsible for fluid secretion are blocked. After 4-5 days, you get used to it and it's fine. You start sweating almost like a normal person. I've tried everything from Dry Dry to Iontophoresis, nothing helps. I myself have been suffering from hyperhidrosis for 7 years and can't cure it.

Botox is indeed a poison and how your body will react is still unknown. And by the way, hyperhidrosis remedies should be used strictly according to the instructions. Take Formagel, for example, if you apply it immediately after a shower, that's not correct, moisture will interfere with the active ingredient.. Exclusively on dry skin. Then a week of dryness is guaranteed. And then repeat.

Try the remedy that helped me in my time of need. I suffered for a long time with this. The drug that really works is glycopyrrolate. I suffered for so many years. Doctors just threw their hands up. Finally, I can now wear any clothing. There's dryness in the mouth but it hardly bothers me. Such bliss in everything. The effect immediately after the first capsule, after the second the problem completely disappeared. A big thank you, that I can live like a normal person! Glycopyrrolate - it's the thing!

Same problem here. But I found one remedy. Glycopyrronium bromide works well for sweat. I've suffered from hyperhidrosis all my life, this is the only thing that's been able to help me. The downside – there's dryness in the mouth, but you get used to it.
