Botox vs Keratin for Hair: Preferences and Experiences?

Have you had Botox or keratin for your hair? Which procedure did you prefer? Or is a mix of keratin and Botox better? What composition do you choose? Also, what effect does it have and how long does it last? How often do you have it done?

I've done both. I have thin, sparse hair, and the keratin made it look even thinner. I preferred the Botox. It has a cumulative effect; I used to do it once a month for six months, now it's once every three months. I alternate between Botox for gloss and Botox-recovery, both products are from Felps.

I prefer keratin more. I used to have it done on all my hair, now just the ends about 15 cm where the hair is particularly dry from the sun, shampoo and the like. I've had Botox done three times. It looked nice for the first week, then it washed out and my hair was back to its original state. The keratin lasts longer for me. To each their own, you have to try it 😊.

I've had keratin, botox, and lamination treatments. I liked the keratin the most, the effect lasted up to three-four months, if you use their own line of shampoo and conditioner. My hair was fabulous, the composition was coco choco. I had it done in 2012 and back then, the effect seemed amazing. In December, I had botox. It lasted two weeks, nothing special, just made styling easier and the hair became a bit softer.

I've only done keratin straightening with Inoar, it lasted me for 2 and a half months, my hair was in excellent condition, after the keratin wore off over these months, they even noticeably grew. I'll go do it again in September. I haven't done Botox, as my hair is porous, fluffy, very curly - a total nightmare, in short. Probably Botox won't take my hair, although I really want to try it, someday I'll do it too, but for now I'll give preference to keratin.
