Soumya Feurtado
@s.feurtado · 9 days agoIn principle, it's one and the same. The only difference is that you need to do a test on a small patch of skin, whether botox or dysport will work on you - because sometimes it happens, rarely, individually, but still, that botox doesn't work.

Malou Westmore
@m_westmore · 9 days agoGoogle it, complications from Dysport occur in 33% of cases (drooping eyelids). From Botox - seems to be around 3%. My beautician says that Botox is better (although yes, Dysport is apparently based on Botox). I've heard from friends that Dysport gives you a headache and a stiff forehead, while Botox works gently.

Winnie Lazarte Piaz
@w_lazartepiaz · 8 days agoBotox and Dysport contain botulinum toxin type A as the active ingredient, but the amount varies, as does the composition of accompanying substances. The nature of the action also slightly differs; Dysport can sort of "spread" to neighbouring areas from the injection site, achieving a softer smoothing of wrinkles. A lot depends on the doctor's experience.

The main thing is to control your facial expressions afterwards. As this wrinkle mainly appears due to negative emotions, there's a direct benefit 😆.

Snow Ogbuehi
@snow.ogbuehi.94 · 8 days agoBut isn't it all the same? I have a very pronounced frown line. 8 months ago, I had a Dysport injection. The next day, the vessels of my eye burst. The entire white of my eye was red. But the wrinkle smoothed out a bit. A month later, I injected a filler (hyaluronic gel) into the same spot. My forehead became completely youthful. Now the effect is gradually fading, the wrinkle is deepening again, but I don't want to "wrinkle up".

For some reason, all the stars are on botox. I want to get my forehead and nasolabial folds done. Is it safe to inject it under the eyes? Won't there be any swelling?

Olivia Manso
@olivia.manso · 7 days agoFor two years in a row, I've been getting Botox, but now I've booked in for Dysport, having read a ton of reviews, both "+" and "-". It's a contentious issue, I must say. For me, Botox wears off quickly, only lasting about 3 months. I've had it done on my forehead, between my eyebrows, and under my eyes. I'm going to try Dysport, it might be better. As for nasolabial folds, they don't do Botox or Dysport injections there, only hyaluronic acid injections are used for the nasolabial folds. The effect has been holding up for over a year now.

@ilaydabarbak · 7 days agoPerhaps it's worth holding off on the botox? What if you do it and then can't furrow your brow at all? Try simply moisturising your skin to start with, I can recommend regular hyaluronic acid injections. I used a product called Meso-Xanthin, it'll freshen up your skin as well.
