@leahann.mcilwaine.3 · 10 days agoFor everything together? Well, of course, it depends on the condition of the skin, but I think 16 units for both the glabella and the forehead is very little... I had my glabella injected when I had NOT VERY pronounced two wrinkles - 30 units... Are you sure you heard correctly about 16 units for the whole forehead and glabella, aren't you mistaken?

@rspot · 10 days agoYes, she was recording while I was there. I left her place about 2 hours ago 😆. Could it depend on the skin? And I suppose you could do a touch-up if needed? Tell me, how quickly can you go outside after the injections?

I generally inject 70 units all over my forehead and around my eyes. Maybe they dilute it too much?. I'll try doing it in a different place next time. And you can go outside right away. Just hold ice on the injection sites until the redness subsides.

@leahann.mcilwaine.3 · 10 days agoThey inject Botox under the eyes. No, not right at the eyelashes, of course, they block the muscle that works when we squint. You can always get an injection, you'll have a check-up in 10-14 days anyway. Hyaluronic acid is good. But I would still go for Botox if the wrinkles are already pronounced. It's not about age, it depends on your facial expressions.

@rspot · 10 days agoI would as well. I have quite deep ones. When I smile, my cheeks lift and wrinkles form that don't go away. Plus, I have extremely dry skin naturally 😭. It's simply TERRIBLE.

@n.birch · 10 days agoWell, at 26 I hadn't had anything injected yet, there were absolutely no wrinkles then, at 32 I got my first Botox injection in the brow area, I don't know the volume, but it wasn't much, as a result, I don't wrinkle anymore and don't get injections! And you, if you got hooked on Botox at 26, by 35 even plastic surgery won't help you, Botox is like a drug for the skin, each time you need a bigger dose, and then it stops helping altogether!

@rspot · 9 days agoI know women who've been getting Botox practically since the day it came out. And not just one. And no one's getting anything enlarged, and if anyone has problems with their brakes, it's their problem only!!! And still, you need to update your information about cosmetology at least once every 5 years. And many myths will disappear!!!!!!!!!!

Emelia Lumberg
@e.lumberg.76 · 9 days agoIt's not that your muscle will atrophy 😆, it's just that when the Botox effect wears off and you return to your original appearance, you no longer like the way it was. But you remember the effect Botox had, so you repeat the procedure over and over again. No matter how much you fill the glabellar line with filler, it won't make a difference until you inject Botox, because that muscle is very strong and will still crease the wrinkle along with the filler.

Grazia Odowaa
@grazia.odowaa · 9 days agoI've tried it myself. First between the eyebrows - I liked the effect (the wrinkle smoothed out and everything seemed fine). Next time, since there was a result, I decided to do it under the eyes (crow's feet) - HORROR!!!! There were such bags under my eyes. You wake up in the morning as if you've been drinking all night... I went to the cosmetologist, and he said "well, yes, it's a side effect" (why didn't they mention it straight away!!!) in short, I had to do (lymphatic drainage - massage with a special device - currents) to recover from the worst.

@grazia.odowaa · 9 days agoBut that's not all. Time passed and I went again. Especially since the first experience seemed positive (between the eyebrows). I decided to remove the crease between the eyebrows again and that's it, but the doctor also persuaded me to do the forehead. (agreed). The result was not comforting - terrible - it felt like the entire upper part had sagged down, the eyebrows and upper eyelids dropped, and the facial expressions became wooden (though it passed after a couple of months) and then the result began to please (apparently the muscles began to recover). I do mesotherapy, acid peels (did superficial ones), hyaluronic acid treatments and masks and I'm satisfied.

@tcomiskey80 · 5 days agoI'm in exactly the same situation, had my first injection at 42 with 16 units, my forehead and eyebrows dropped, it's a nightmare, I can't wait for the Botox effect to wear off. I definitely won't be having this procedure again. Besides, I didn't have any deep wrinkles to begin with.

@rjecu75 · 6 days agoBotulinum toxin injections are actually a "procedure for the young"! And they're administered from 18 years old, if your facial expressions are active! Because if you don't get them, by 26 you'll be all lined! The point here isn't about the injections themselves, but about controlling your facial expressions! People who pay attention to this look inherently better at 40 than those who don't. If you can keep a straight face yourself, then great! You're lucky! BUT some people can't do it themselves! Then botulinum toxin to the rescue!

@teegan_jeakins · 8 days agoAt 26 years old - it's not nonsense, but precisely the age when you should start. And then at 40, you'll look like a 26-year-old. It's strange that women don't understand one thing: Botox at 26 - it's wrinkle prevention. If you undergo procedures, they won't even appear.

@anneborcila · 8 days agoAt 25, I had crow's feet for the first time. Just 3 units per eye. And I don't see anything terrible in this. When my friends have no wrinkles, and I looked older, it's not very pleasant. Now I'm going for the 4th time, I like the effect.

Ive Gerotto Tiepo
@i.gerottotiepo · 7 days agoLadies! Getting Botox at 40 is already late as at this age the muscles are a bit weak and there's a risk of ptosis. Therefore, Botox is administered at the first signs of wrinkles - prevention should be done at an earlier age, so that at the age of 40 and above you look young and fresh. And when wrinkles, deep enough, have appeared, here fillers will already help! Take care of yourself from a young age, otherwise no Botox will help by the time you're 40!

Chandrani Tatineni
@ctatineni94 · 7 days agoDo they seem to be giving you a lot? I started with 10 units at 38 years old, now I'm 41 and I only inject 8 units on my forehead, between my eyebrows, and crow's feet, that's enough, the wrinkles smooth out and the look is natural. Perhaps it depends on the skin type, mine is thin.

@fenna.beyaz · 6 days agoI've been having Botox injections since I was 25, I'm now 30 and I don't have a single wrinkle! Another amazing procedure for wrinkles is laser peeling, but it can only be done in autumn or winter and the recovery period is long, but after just 2 procedures, your skin is as smooth as a baby's bottom and wrinkles even around the eyes are erased!

@h.mcmanus · 5 days agoI read some fools and realise, talking is pointless. There are people who look younger. Understand? There are. You won't even realise, it won't cross your mind how old they are. If you're unlucky, that's a question for mum and dad or for yourself. And right now, I'm not talking about Botox.
